The London Dock Masterplan

Hybrid planning permission was granted for the whole London Dock masterplan in 2014 for 1,800 homes, which consented some of the earlier buildings in detail, and the later buildings in outline.

The outline planning permission covered Buildings D, F, G, H and J, and provided the parameters for the massing of the buildings, but left the detail still to be designed. Since 2014, St George have carefully designed each building at London Dock in stages and have responded to market demand for the types of homes that buyers are looking for. To date, St George has delivered or secured approval for 1,504 of the 1,800 homes originally consented, across Buildings A – G.

Looking ahead to the final two phases of London Dock, Buildings H and J, the emerging proposals align with the consented massing parameters and accommodate 525 homes, alongside a new ‘Garden Square’. The next pages provide further details of the proposals for Buildings H and J, which will complete the London Dock masterplan, delivering 2,029 homes sitewide.
